DARRELL THORVALDSON
Darrell Thorvaldson AACI, P.App, P.Ag. is an accredited member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and designated as a Professional Agrologist with the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists. He is Chair of the Appraisal Institute of Canada's Investigating Committee, a professional practice committee that investigates complaints and consumer enquiries as they relate to the Canadian Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and Code of Ethics (CUSPAP). Darrell has served as President of the Manitoba Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) and has been a contributing author with publication in the Canadian Property Valuation – the official publication of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Since becoming an independent Real Property Valuation Consultant, Darrell Thorvaldson has prepared many real estate appraisal and consulting reports on a wide range of property types, including general commercial, investment, industrial, special purpose properties, agricultural land and buildings, acreage properties and urban residential properties.

- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc.A. - Hon.) from University of Manitoba, 1988
- Professional Agrologist (P. Ag.) designation from the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists, 1992
- Certificate in Machinery & Equipment Valuation (CPD 118) from University of British Columbia, 2009
Prior to his career in independent real estate valuation and consulting, Darrell Thorvaldson worked over 17 years in both private and public commercial, agricultural and residential financial services as a mortgage lender and regional manager.
